This page is an intentionally empty stub. The Italian text has to be produced by a human translator working from the reviewed English version — machine-translating a privacy notice is how you end up stating a legal basis you did not mean.
Why this stub exists
Art. 12(1) GDPR requires the information to be intelligible and easily accessible to the data subject. The Garante has held that against an English-only notice: in its provvedimento of 10 April 2025 (doc. web 10130115) it faulted a service for a privacy policy that was "disponibile solamente in lingua inglese, non considerando la lingua del Paese in cui il servizio era offerto, segnatamente la lingua italiana". The Dutch authority fined TikTok €750,000 on the same point in 2021.
So as long as BCKDOOR addresses users in Italy, an Italian version is needed. It is not optional polish.
What has to be translated
TODO Have the reviewed English privacy policy translated into Italian in full — every section, not a summary. Terms of art have established Italian equivalents and should use them: titolare del trattamento, responsabile del trattamento, base giuridica, consenso, interessato, periodo di conservazione.
TODO Decide which language version governs if the two ever diverge, and say so in both.
TODO Keep the two files in step. A change to the English version that is not mirrored here is worse than having no Italian version at all.
